About

ClothesxEnvy is a fashion blog dedicated to bringing girls the latest trends from other countries here to Singapore.

Our goal is to bring you tips, fashion videos and ideas so you’ll never need to have a wardrobe fit when you stress out over what you should wear. We hope to inspire strong confident young women and this blog is dedicated to styling trends and clothing.

The contributors/writers of ClothesxEnvy are five young individuals in media school with a passion for fashion and design. Most of all, we recognize the need to transcend foreign fashion trends and making them suitable and wearable for all.

"Fashion was introduced to me at a young age; my mother was the one that cultivated my interest in fashion and dressing up in general. She dressed me up in trends and my wardrobe was always expanding. I would get excited whenever she'd let me wear a piece of new clothing and I had no problem posing for her as she snapped full-body shots of me. These days, I have the freedom to wear whatever I like and nicking pieces from my mother's wardrobe. I may have a problem being a shoppaholic but I believe fashion is a fast forward game and the rules are ever-changing. You snooze, you lose!"

"I dig the laid back look and expressing my honest thoughts and feelings in words can be a challenge. However, I still hope to share some good thoughts with you ladies! You'll find me in shades of black most of the time and chilling with my 6 cats."

"My first love’s photography; which translates to how I am conscious of the way I present myself with the clothes I wear. I think I’m born in the wrong country because I possess a penchant for knits and I'm a sucker for anything with eyeball or pineapple prints on them. I discovered my fashion inspiration when I chanced upon a feature article on Alexa Chung and her personal style. I quote, “…my look is generally quite preppy, like school girl meets grandma and a skanky older brother”. I long for a day where I can layer up my clothes on a daily basis."

"If I'm not at Mcdonalds, then I'd probably be singing to my groupie of one, my kitty cat Nami. If I had to describe my style, it would be 'CCB' (ha ha).
Convenient, Comfort, Basics
I have a (self) deprecating humor that not many can understand but just know that I've never meant to hurt you - unless I say it to your face. Much love!!"

"Very nice without Y hence not that nice. (Ver-nice) My style revolves around street-styled trends, from grunge to the streets of Harajuku, Japan. I desperately want to dye my hair in several different shades but unfortunately I’m hella trapped in media school and my hair plans gotta wait. I’ve never failed to horde Japanese fashion magazines (my favourites are Nylon & Zipper!) and I gain fashion inspirations from them and also my favourite style icons Chloe Norgaard, Juria Nakagawa, Lorde, Miley and many more! Too much for you to process? Just Grunge and also a mix of everything else."
